Our Dog Walking Division was created for clients who want more than a basic leash-around-the-block service.
At Black Pirate Pup Co., dog walking is not separate from training—it is an extension of it.
This program is designed for dogs who have first gone through foundational work with Head Trainer Mycaela. That way, every walk begins with structure, communication, and clear expectations. not chaos, pulling, or inconsistency.
Once the foundation is in place, our apprentice trainers maintain that work in the real world through structured walks, check-ins, and adventure-based outings.
Why We Do It This Way

Our Dog Walking Division exists to protect the training your dog has already started and to make sure the handling stays consistent even when you are not the one holding the leash.

How It Works
Getting started is simple.
Step 1: Book a Session with Head Trainer Mycaela
Every dog begins with a training session first. This is where you and your dog are introduced to the handling skills needed for success in our walking program.
During this session, Mycaela will work with you on:

Step 2: Build the Foundation
Your dog does not need to be perfect overnight. The goal is to create a solid starting point so our team can handle your dog clearly, consistently, and safely.
This step gives your dog the tools they need before being added to the walking schedule.
Step 3: Join the Dog Walking Division
Once your dog has the foundation in place, they can begin services with our apprentice trainers.
At that point, walks are no longer random outings. They become part of a bigger picture—maintaining behavior, reinforcing structure, and giving your dog productive real-world experience.
Who Handles the Walks
Our Dog Walking Division is run by apprentice trainers under the Black Pirate Pup Co. training standard.
These are not casual walkers. They are developing dog professionals who are trained to uphold the structure, handling expectations, and real-world standards established through the Quiet Precision Method™.
Their role is not to teach your dog brand-new concepts during a walk. Their role is to maintain what has already been taught, reinforce good habits, and keep your dog aligned with the standard we expect.
